Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) July 15, 2011
A-List Communications, a communications and special events company based in Los Angeles, is bringing its notable Arts & Cinema Centre program to downtown San Diego for Comic-Con International 2011, where it will serve as a celebrity hospitality and media hub July 21- 23.
A-List Communications and its partners, including presenting sponsor, Nintendo of America Inc., will strategically stage the invitation-only, VIP hospitality and media space just across from the San Diego Convention Center, in a 6,000 square foot retail store in the historic Gaslamp Quarter District.
As a presenting sponsor, Nintendo will provide VIP guests a reprieve from their hectic show schedules with an opportunity to immerse themselves in 3D gaming without glasses at the Nintendo 3DS? Experience. The experience will feature The Legend of Zelda?: Ocarina of Time? 3D, a game that lets guests join the story's protagonist Link? on an epic adventure in one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time, made even better in 3D. For guests who want to share their fondest memories from the past 25 years playing The Legend of Zelda games, an on-site video testimonial booth will capture those memories in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the franchise.
Complementing the Nintendo 3DS Experience, the official "WireImage Portrait Studio" (courtesy of Connected Kenneth Cole Reaction fragrance) will be conducting official publicity photos for film/tv casts and other celebrity talent attending the convention on appointment-based bookings. WireImage, one of the world's leading photo content distribution sites, receives an average of 25 million page views and 2 million unique visitors per month.
WireImage photographer, Michael Bezjian, owner of The PhotoFund, will partner with Connected Kenneth Cole Reaction cologne and offer talent the opportunity to post photos on ThePhotoFund.com where portraits are made available for purchase to the public with 100 percent of funds donated to charity. For this event, each time a portrait is purchased, a donation will be made to The American Red Cross, the official non-profit beneficiary of the program.
Attending VIP guests can also enjoy 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment's "Limitless Caf" and relax and indulge in the hospitality provided goods including beverages by Monster Energy, One Hope Wines, Blue Angel Vodka's "Blue BAM" and other cocktails, snacks as well as special gifts and SPIN Magazine.
The Arts & Cinema Centre presented by Nintendo is expected to be buzzing with casts and crews from top films and studios being promoted at the convention. The exciting line-up includes the cocktail reception for Magnet Releasing's upcoming film "Tucker & Dale vs. Evil" with Tyler Labine, Alan Tudyk & Katrina Bowden. Additionally, there will be a gala reception for the film "Sushi Girl" with Mark Hamill, James Duvall, Danny Trejo, Noah Hathaway and other celebrity talent expected to attend. Other press junkets, parties and activities will be announced closer to the event date.
"We're very excited about expanding our presence this year, bringing on presenting sponsor Nintendo, and creating full day and night programming just a short distance from the convention center. Our other partners, including Connected Kenneth Cole Reaction, SPIN Magazine and the American Red Cross significantly add to the build-out of the overall experience that will help bring together filmmakers, TV personalities and the media community, and benefit a charitable cause," says David Manning, Executive Producer/President, A-List Communications.
