LADY Gaga lightened the tone after she broke into tears this week by drawing fake eyes on her own eyelids.

Gaga, who broke into tears as she attended a media event in Tokyo to discuss the devastating effects of the Japanese tsunami earlier this week decided to get some laughter back into the proceedings.

The star painted a set of eyes over her own eyes in a comedy moment that greatly entertained the Japanese.

Gaga, teamed her new eye makeup with a black bra, tights and studded leather jacket.

She also wore mammoth gold-studded boots to attend the event.
