Mario Rosenstock sat on his hands last week and left it to the rest of the field to close the gap as he once again heads the leaderboard of the Delta Index Celebrity Trading Challenge.
Mario is sitting on a gain of almost ?30,000 in just four weeks from trading the volatile oil markets. TV3's Sinead Desmond surged into second place as her strategy of buying luxury brands led her to take a big position on BMW which delivered a return of over ?5,000 last week. Fair City's Aisling O'Neill dropped to third place as her short position on the FTSE suffered in the face of a sustained rally.
Athlete David Gillick improved his fortunes last week but will need to pick up the pace soon. Norah Casey, the latest Dragon in the Den, is still nursing a loss on her Apple shares but had a good week on her Intel position.
You still have a chance to win a trip to New York and Boston -- enter the competition and play via a PC or any smartphone, check out deltaindex.com for details. Delta Index is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. If you entered the competition, keep track of your progress at the live leaderboard on the Delta Index website.
