VANESSA Hudgens, Kate Bosworth and Katy Perry looked set for the searing heat as they flocked to this year's Coachella festival in California.

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, situated in the Mojave desert, gave stars the perfect opportunity to show off their summer style, as mercury hit 38C.

Vanessa Hudgens opted for a 60s-style boho look with brown trousers and an orange crop top, teamed with a large sun hat and over-sized sun glasses.

Kate Bosworth arrived looking every inch the rock chick, wearing an American flag printed vest with white shorts and bangles.

Katy Perry looked angelic in a cream, layered lace dress with matching head band, an over the shoulder bag and dark shades.

Thousands of festival fans were attracted to the event with such stars as Cee Lo Green and Lauryn Hill hitting the stage during the course of the weekend.
