KATE Middleton has revealed her dreams of having a family with Prince William during their royal tour of Canada.
Kate was handed a bouquet of flowers during a walkabout in Quebec City by a toddler, whom she appeared particularly taken with.
When the little girl's father, David Cheater, wished her luck in starting her own family, she thanked him and added: "Yes, I hope to."
It is the first time the Duchess has ever spoken publicly about having children with William and probably the only time those four little words could cause such excitement among fans of the royal couple.
Earlier on in the day, the couple attended a morning pray service yesterday at Champlain Harbour Station, where the Duchess showed off her slim figure in a royal blue fitted dress.
With lace detailing around the neckline and down the sleeves, Kate teamed the frock with beige courts and a matching clutch bag as they warmly greeted the crowds.
