ET was with "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Kendra Wilkinson as dance partner Louis Van Amstel put her through his rigorous dance class to get her ready for the show's big premiere!

Kendra said she thought her "DWTS" dance rehearsals were hard until she attended this fast-moving dance class. "Louis' dance class is way harder than dance rehearsal. I thought it was going to be a lot easier, but no - it's harder. I actually look like a rookie in here!"

Louis agreed that his dance class at L.A.'s Crunch gym is hard work, but said it can be a lot more fun than other exercise. "I think dance is the best alternative to workout because you don't really feel you're working out. You're not on the treadmill, you're not on the elliptical, you're dancing to music. And the fact that you burn a heck load of calories, and you're dancing to your favorite music."

Louis said the class is good preparation for Kendra: "Everything tonight is going to be special because we haven't even started the show officially yet. So she (Kendra) only knows one dance and we're doing about six tonight, so everything is going to be very special for her. But the good thing for Kendra is that every dance we do tonight, she will eventually have to do on 'Dancing with the Stars' -- if people vote."

So did Kendra think she was giving her all during the class? "Man, see I didn't want to go all out here because I didn't want to distract my mind -- because too much of something, you get overwhelmed. So I just wanted to have some fun and just loosen up here. Monday's coming up real fast, so I just want to be calm and do the best I can do on Monday."

Watch the video to see more of Kendra's dance class experience and be sure to catch the live, two-hour premiere of "Dancing with the Stars" tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC.
